Works Underway at Hornsby Park

We’re excited to share that our team has officially commenced work on the Field of Play project for Hornsby Shire Council!

Located in Old Mans Valley within the Hornsby Park precinct, the Field of Play project is part of the long-term transformation of the former Hornsby quarry.

Once complete, the Field of Play will include a new multi purpose sporting field, recreational green space, amenities including change rooms and toilets, and pump and jump tracks designed for bike riders to build skills in a purpose built setting.

Delivered in Stages

Delivered in stages, the works include major service upgrades, civil and landscape construction, new sporting fields, and supporting amenities. In addition to the construction of a new washed turf sports field, we will deliver upgrades to the drainage, power, and water supply services to enhance the space for community use. Landscape architecture is being delivered by Clouston Associates.

A recent sod turning event was attended by Hornsby Shire Council representatives, including Mayor Warren Waddell, Councillors Jane Seaglove, Nathan Tilbury, Olivia Simons, Monika Ball and Ben McSweeney, and Julian Leeser MP. This project is proudly supported by the Australian Government through the Thriving Suburbs Grant Program.

After delivering the landscape construction works at the Crusher Plant Precinct, we are proud to be delivering another great asset for Hornsby Shire Council and the Hornsby community.
