Jubilee Oval
Jubilee Oval is a community sports field in Glebe, a much-loved community asset for games of cricket, AFL and everyday recreational use. Our turf and civil teams delivered a fully integrated renovation across the City of Sydney’s Jubilee Oval precinct.

The Brief
The project required a comprehensive renovation to improve field performance, drainage and long-term reliability, while maintaining safe public access and minimising disruption to the surrounding community.
Our role was to deliver a coordinated, high-quality outcome by managing all aspects of the redevelopment in-house. This ranged from civil works through to turf establishment whilst ensuring efficiency, safety and consistency across every stage.
Creating Successful Outcomes
- Our civil works included demolition, earthworks, management of contaminated materials, reshaping of the subgrade, stormwater drainage installation, new concrete edging and asphalt upgrades.
- Our team implemented traffic and pedestrian management measures, maintaining safe access around the site and protecting shared pathways.
- Our turf team delivered a sand-slit drainage system. perched water table.
- The irrigation system was upgraded.
- The surface was then the laying of 13,200m² of turf.
An Integrated Delivery
This project’s key success was full cohesion across teams for an integrated delivery. By delivering the entire project in-house, we improved coordination, avoided delays and ensured consistent quality across all works.
This enabled our team to be able to streamline every stage of the renovation and achieve a superior product.
