The Landscaping Apprenticeship Cheat Sheet
- An apprenticeship takes four years to complete (three for QLD)
- They are competency-based. Develop your skills faster and you’ll complete your training sooner
- You may be granted course credits for any prior workplace experience
What Apprenticeships Do You Offer?
We currently offer three apprenticeships, including:
- Cert III in Landscape Construction
- You’ll be on the tools: operating an excavator to prep a new sports field one day, pouring concrete for a pathway the next. You’ll master everything from drainage to formwork.
- Cert III in Parks & Gardens
- Become a qualified Horticulturalist and an expert in creating high-impact floral displays. Pests, weeds, and diseases will be your problem to solve and you’ll have the knowledge to win.
- Cert III in Sports Turf Management
- This course isn’t just mowing, this is next-level turf science (the mowers are pretty cool, though). You’ll be prepping cricket wickets, managing compaction, and adapting surfaces for elite sports.
