Landscape Construction Apprentices

Take The First Step In A Bright Future

Looking to get a headstart in your landscaping career? There are many benefits to completing an apprenticeship. From hands-on experience and the development of valuable skills, to formal training and being paid while you do so, it’s a smart way to get ahead.

For over 30 years, we’ve been training apprentices, believing them to be the future of our business. Many of these apprentices are now thriving in new roles, from Team Leaders and Site Managers to office-based management roles. When you complete an apprenticeship, the opportunities are great.

When you complete an apprenticeship with Solutions+, you grow with us and we grow with you.

Here’s Why an Apprenticeship Is A Great Choice

  • Earn money and get trained! All while you gain a Nationally Recognised Qualification. That means better pay and opportunities later on.
  • Gain immediate experience. We really hope that you love your apprenticeship, but the great thing is, unlike a university degree you will know early on whether or not this is the path for you.
  • Gain industry skills that are in high demand. Start climbing that career ladder early.
  • You can expect ongoing support within a friendly team environment.

FAQs

Not sure whether an apprenticeship is right for you? Here are the answers to a few commonly asked questions to help you decide if an apprenticeship is your best career pathway.

What are the benefits of apprenticeships?

With an apprenticeship you can earn an income while you study and gain hands-on work experience. You’ll finish with a nationally recognised qualification and you can even begin your apprenticeship while you’re still at school.

An apprenticeship takes four years to complete. If you’re in QLD, an apprenticeship typically lasts three years. Apprenticeships are competency-based, which means you can complete your training sooner if you get to the required skill levels more quickly than usual. You may also be granted course credits for any prior workplace experience or skills you already have, potentially reducing your formal training time.

Solutions+ will provide you with all your uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It is expected that you will wear this at all time when at work or TAFE. You will only need to provide your own steel cap boots.
