Wallacia Country Club Golf Course

In the competitive world of golf, a pristine course is paramount to member satisfaction and operational success. Since 2014, Solutions+ has proudly partnered with Wallacia Country Club Golf Course

Our golf course management team took on the challenge at Wallacia Country Club with a clear vision, to elevate the course experience for every golfer. Our approach extends beyond routine tasks; it’s a comprehensive, proactive strategy built on precision and deep agronomic expertise.

From day one, our dedicated superintendents and greenkeepers have immersed themselves in understanding Wallacia’s unique landscape, turf varieties, and operational rhythms. We manage the daily maintenance requirements of this expansive 18-hole course with unparalleled attention to detail, ensuring every green, bunker, and surround is always immaculately prepared and clearly defined.

This meticulous care is crucial for successful play, reflecting the professional setting Wallacia Country Club Golf Course aims to provide its customers.

Delivering Consistent Excellence

Our long-standing success at Wallacia is a testament to our commitment to both playability and operational efficiency. We adapt our maintenance schedules for peak times and important client events, ensuring the course is always in top condition when it matters most. This flexible and responsive service minimises disruption and maximises the club’s ability to host tournaments and attract new members.

Beyond the greens, bunkers, and fairways, Solutions+ has actively sought and implemented a number of significant cost-saving measures for Wallacia Country Club Golf Course.

By optimising resource allocation, leveraging efficient equipment, and applying expert agronomic practices that reduce the need for reactive interventions, we have been able to reduce operational stress on the club’s management. This has empowered Wallacia Country Club to reinvest in other areas, further enhancing the professional setting and overall experience for their members and visitors.

Setting a New Benchmark

We delivered:

  • Two premium hockey fields (built by our construction team to Hockey NSW and Hockey Australia’s standards, one certified for international play);
  • Basketball and tennis courts;
  • An amenities building;
  • A skate park;
  • Playground;
  • Connecting pathways;
  • A dedicated fitness zone;
  • An off-leash area for local pooches.

The integration of multipurpose courts, community-focused amenities and outdoor spaces supports sports development and community wellbeing, while setting a new benchmark for multi-use precincts in Western Sydney.

The Pluses We Brought To This Project

PROJECT DETAILS

  • The NSW State Government contributed $11.248m from the NSW Government’s State Voluntary Planning Agreement, an infrastructure funding program, to The Gables sporting precinct.
  • The project was initiated by Stockland and the Hills Shire Council to address the lack of high-quality, multi-purpose sporting facilities within the growing Gables community. As the population increased, there was a clear need for inclusive spaces that could support both organised sport and casual recreation.

  • There has been continued significant use from members of the public since the opening, with all aspects being enjoyed, including the sports courts, playgrounds, dog park, pathways, and skate park.
  •  The uptake by Hockey clubs in the months since opening has also been significant, a fantastic result for this project. The 2025 U18 NSW Field Hockey State Championships were held at The Gables.
  • Finalist in the 2025 NSC Australian Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Awards | Outdoor Sports and Leisure Facility Design category
