Barangaroo Reserve
Barangaroo Reserve is located within the natural beauty of Sydney Harbour. It is a nature-filled escape for both the Sydney community and tourists, featuring foreshore walks and iconic sandstone architecture reminiscent of early Sydney.
Barangaroo Headland Reserve, an incredible 22-hectare site, is layered with history and invites all within the community to come together to enjoy its native trees and shrubs, as well as incredible views of Sydney Harbour. Large sandstone blocks throughout the tidal zone provide a solid foundation for the headland.

Maintaining an Iconic Sydney Park
All plantings throughout Barangaroo Headland Reserve are native to the Sydney Harbour area. With a full-time presence onsite, our landscape maintenance team is involved in numerous weekly and daily processes, including mulching, soil management, lawn and tree care, among others. We also help with the preparation of the many events held in this iconic space.
The reserve is accessible to all within the community, with entries, pathways, and staircases to be utilised by all. The landscape architecture, completed by Stuart Pittendrigh, placed an emphasis on preserving the space’s history, with the foreshore walk following the same shoreline that was in place in 1836.

Parkland Pathways
The Solutions+ landscape construction team also worked at Barangaroo Reserve, completing the renovation of the pathways surrounding the park.
The pathways experience heavy use by members of the public and during events, and the decomposed granite was in need of resurfacing. Our team installed new stabilised decomposed granite, along with 14 bins along the promenade and new bike stands.
