Our Living Legacy

Surrounded by sensational coastlines and pristine bush, we’re lucky in Australia to share our home with iconic native fauna and flora. With many species now under threat, it’s crucial to do everything we can to protect our natural wonders.

At Solutions+, we work to restore and protect these landscapes through targeted ecological services. This includes revegetation works, habitat restoration, and ecological reporting and management services to support sustainable land stewardship.

Finding the Balance Between Progress and Protection

We know our customers want to do the right thing. But navigating environmental legislation can be complex. That’s where we come in.

Whether you’re starting a project in a sensitive area, tackling invasive species, or looking to restore a degraded site, we help you find the balance between commercial outcomes and ecological care. Our team understands the environmental frameworks, so we can deliver practical, transparent solutions, without compromising on care or compliance.

We bring the plus by guiding you through complexity with clarity and confidence.

What we do

Bush Restoration:

We look at sites in strategic locations and restore the natural habitat using eco-sourced plant species. These newly revegetated zones help to create safe spaces that support breeding, pollination and food sources, all while maintaining the integrity of the region. This includes key waterways and wetland areas.

Revegetation:

Imagine a vast, sun-baked landscape coming back to life. That’s the magic of revegetation in Australia. It’s not just about planting trees, it’s about stitching together the ecological tapestry that’s been ripped apart. We complete the restoration and ongoing maintenance of existing natural features to support the health and sustainability of the environment and regeneration of native species.

Clarity Through Ecological Reporting

Environmental integrity is one thing, demonstrating it is another. That’s why our ecology team provides tailored reporting services that clearly map, measure and communicate your environmental impact.

Our comprehensive reports include baseline assessments, impact analysis and implementation strategies, all designed to meet your regulatory requirements while supporting informed, transparent decision-making.

What is revegetation?

Revegetation is the act of restoring native habitat and vegetation through the rehabilitation of soils, re-planting of trees, shrubs and groundcovers, and thereby stabilising land from wind and water erosion.

Some of the benefits of revegetation works include habitat restoration for wildlife, restoration of healthy ecosystems, connection of corridors of bushland, improved soil health and stability, and reduced erosion from wind and rain.

It is always better to retain existing native vegetation than to restore cleared ecosystems, however, when this isn’t always an option. Revegetation works will ensure you are leaving the land in a better way than you found it.

The revegetation process begins by firstly identifying areas suitable, clearing weeds, identifying local flora and obtaining seedlings and tubestock, followed by preparation of the soil. Once planting takes place, the aim is that these corridors of habitat can continue to be built upon over time. Infill planting will most likely be needed in the future to replace any plants that may have died. It can take up to 15 years to completely revegetate an area, and even then trees will need much longer to completely mature.

Our team has a number of revegetation solutions available. What’s needed for your particular site will depend on a variety of factors.
