Tumbalong Park
Tumbalong Park is in the centre of the iconic Sydney Darling Harbour precinct, an area that sees thousands of visitors a day and plays host to a wide variety of large events.
This heavy use meant that re-turfing of the area around the stage was essential following events. To combat this, our construction and turfcare teams looked to address the root causes of the turf wear and tear.
A More Durable Surface
That meant, regrading the Tumbalong Park surface and removing any low spots, installing a new drainage system to prevent water pooling on the surface, a new irrigation system, new concreting around the stage and finally restoration of the turf surface.
Now the area will shed water more efficiently, recover faster, and maintain a durable, high-quality turf surface year-round.
