Jewel
Jewel Apartments is Australia’s largest beach front mixed use development to be constructed on the Gold Coast in more than 30 years.
Global construction company Multiplex, contracted Solutions+ to complete the hard and soft landscaping elements, with the design and landscape architecture completed by DBI Design. The towers feature a five-star hotel with over 150 suites and over 500 stunning residential spaces. The iconic towers are hard to miss, and are a truly beautiful addition to this picturesque location.
With work by our landscape construction team, our maintenance team continues to ensure this stunning location remains just that. The stunning space features bespoke shelters built by our team, a swim-up bar and a multitude of gorgeous palms.



Bespoke Landscape Details
Our scope of works included:
- Over 6000m2 stone tiling
- Up to 500m2 timber decking
- 200lm insitu concrete seating
- Bespoke elliptical shelters and cabanas
- Glass balustrades
- Concrete and civil works
- Over 1800m3 of soil and over 80 palms craned in, sourced from Northern QLD and Northern NSW
Jewel an Award Winner
The Jewel Apartments project won awards in three categories at the 2020 Landscape Queensland Construction Excellence Awards. These included:
- Winner of Commercial $2.5M Plus Category
- Winner of Maintenance Commercial 1 Category
- Winner of Best Landscape Feature in the Commercial Category for Shelters and Cabanas.

Fun Facts
- Wadanggari Park is constructed directly above the North Shore railway line, a complex engineering feat that allowed for the creation of much-needed open space in a densely populated urban environment.
- The playground includes infant pods and mini slides for babies / toddlers, pod climbers for pre-schoolers, net towers for primary school visitors, steppers, bridges, climbing nets, viewing decks, play logs, and thrilling slides.
- The new space also includes a large lawn area suitable for picnics and relaxing, and community events, with passive nooks surrounded by raised planter beds.
