The Gables Sports Precinct

The Gables Sports Precinct is a 4.5 hectare state-of-the-art sports precinct delivered for Stockland in the Hills Shire.

The complex provides the North-Western Sydney community with a high-quality sports facility in a growing residential area. It caters to a wide range of sports and recreational needs, ensuring inclusivity across ages and abilities. It is also the first dedicated hockey complex in The Hills Shire, addressing a critical gap in sports infrastructure.

We delivered:

  • Two premium hockey fields (built by our construction team to Hockey NSW and Hockey Australia’s standards, one certified for international play);
  • Basketball and tennis courts;
  • An amenities building;
  • A skate park;
  • Playground;
  • Connecting pathways;
  • A dedicated fitness zone;
  • An off-leash area for local pooches.

The integration of multipurpose courts, community-focused amenities and outdoor spaces supports sports development and community wellbeing, while setting a new benchmark for multi-use precincts in Western Sydney.

Thank you to Stockland for the opportunity to deliver on this project.

All Hallows School Playground

Our work on the St Gertrude’s Revitalisation project at All Hallows’ School involved transforming an underutilised area on the school grounds into a wonderful space for students. Delivered for All Hallows’ School and COHA Group, with the design completed by Place Design Group, our construction team installed insitu concrete walls with stone pitching, stairs, an arbour, new furniture and plants, all combining to create an inviting environment.

Our team worked closely with a team of arborists and engineers to build a rope playground around the focal point of a heritage-listed tree. The new playground also features balance ropes and integrates accessible ramps.

Thank you to All Hallows’ School and COHA Group for providing us with the opportunity to deliver this engaging new space for students and teachers alike!

Field of Dreams project

Delivered for Richard Crookes Constructions on behalf of Suntory Oceania, we delivered the installation of a significant First Nations artwork, the Field of Dreams screens, in Ipswich, Queensland.

The 90-metre-long artwork, created by Yuggera Elder Uncle Eddie Ruska and Ipswich artist Aunty Kylie Hill with landscape architecture team Nguluway DesignInc, tells the story of the local land and its people. The artwork serves as a poignant reminder of the profound spiritual connection the Yuggera people have with the land, and it was our pleasure to be involved in bringing this meaningful art to life. You can read more about the artwork here.
